What to expect at the appointment
Quick Site Walk
Our professional landscaper will walk the property with you. They will be there to hear out your needs and concerns. Please be brief so they can hear and see everything.
Iidentification
We may point out common landscape issues if we see them. We can’t go into specifics due to time restrictions but will try and prove our knowledge to you
Recommendations
We try to give high level recommendations during your quote. Detailed solutions will require a full visit. The recommended items may be broad initially due to time
Time Expectations
Most quotes last between 10-25 minutes. Time is limited to a maximum of 30 minutes for any initial free quotes. If you have a more complex project, it will require a design.
Scope
We will review your needs and concerns on the property. No work will be performed, past verbal suggestions. This includes no turning on of irrigation/lighting systems.
Deliverables
After the free quote we will follow up via email. We will explain how we can help fill your landscape needs with expected cost. We may send general ideas or feedback.
How to prepare for your appointment
This will be the first time we have been on your property. Please clear a pathway for safe access. It is also important to keep pets secured. We are strangers that your pets may get anxious around.
If access to an area is needed during the quote, please unlock any gates. If we cannot get to it, we cannot give a proper quote. We would prefer to stay on the exterior of the property to access all areas.
If you have a specific landscape idea in mind it will help to get some general photos of the idea before we arrive. This will help ensure we give a more accurate estimate for what you are looking for.
Yard Techs can happily work around any budget. Most of our work is billed per man hour. Thus, we are happy to come for 1 hour or 100 hours. It’s important you have an ideal budget in mind so we can suggest the proper solution that will fit within your needs. Landscaping is a luxury service, and our team is a group of professionals, we are here to help. Please be ready to discuss budget goals.
If you prefer to have us walk the property alone this is not a problem. Just please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. If no one is home when we arrive we will leave the property if we did not get notified about your absence. We do charge for 2nd visits to the property.
